There’s no better time other than now to be talking about these San Diego Padres and no better time to be a Padres fan. That is for the simple or rather huge reason of them acquiring the young stud Juan Soto from the Washington Nationals in the Blockbuster trade that took the MLB world. And quite honestly this team didn’t have to give much. They now have a young core of Fernando Tatis Jr, Juan Soto, and Manny Machado. This trade was massive for the Padres as they went from being playoff contenders who no one really had going far to now all of a sudden the third biggest title favorites in the MLB. Although we are unlikely to see Juan Soto in tonight‘s game expect a boost and team morale on the Padres side as they will easily be able to handle this Colorado Rockies squad that is currently in dead last in their division and who the Padres have beaten plenty of times this year. Starting for the Rockies will be Chad Kuhl who hasn’t had the best campaign this year as he had a 4.59 ERA.
