This is a big series for the Phillies. This is a three-game series that may help them put some pressure on the Mets. The Mets are 7.5 games ahead of the Phillies and Braves. The Phillies need to get back on track as they aren’t playing too well as they’ve lost six of their last ten games. They are coming off of a win over the Braves though.
The Mets have been one of the best teams in baseball this season as they sit at 29-17. They look to be the third team to 30 wins as they are one of three teams with 29. They are coming off of an off day.
I’m taking the over in this one. These are two of the top seven teams in batting average and two of the top nine teams in runs scored. Taijuan Walker and Zach Eflin on the mound and I really don’t have much faith in either of them. These offenses are both led by MVP caliber players and should jump on these pitchers quickly.
