Giants visit Big Apple
The Mets are in shambles. They were the team most bet on to win the World Series this year and now they are +350 to even make the playoffs. They are not playing well and are now 37-46 on the season. They are in fourth place in the NL East.
The Giants have caught fire here over the last couple of weeks. They are now 46-37 on the season and third in the NL West. This team has started to show some playoff potential lately. They are three games back of first place in the West.
I like the over in this one. The Giants and Mets lineup should have a field day in this one. David Peterson will be on the mound for the Mets and he has been horrible this season. He has a 2-6 record and a 7.00 ERA on the field. He is facing Alex Wood who has a 4.57 ERA on the season. These two pitchers have not been good this season.
