Fading Yankees visit M’s

The Yankees have now lost five straight games. It is their longest losing streak on the season. They no longer have the best record in the MLB and are only half a game ahead of the Astros for the best record in the AL. They need to turn it around quickly.

The Mariners have had a great turnaround to their season. They are playing OK right now as they are 5-5 in their last ten. They are now 59-51 on the season. 

The Yankees are favored in this game by a lot and I really don’t know why. The Mariners are a good enough team to take advantage of a slumping Yankees team. The Mariners will have newly acquired Luis Castillo on the mound while the Yankees will have Gerritt Cole. I think these guys are pretty even and will basically cancel each other out. With the Yankees slumping and going on the road the M’s get the edge here.
