MLB’s best team hosts White Sox

The Yankees are now 29-10. They are a full 4.5 games ahead of the next closest team in the AL, the Astros. They are still red hot as they have won eight of their last ten games. They have a +74 run differential which is only behind the 26-12 Dodgers. The Yankees have definitely been baseball’s best team. 

The White Sox have now fallen back under 500 at 19-20 after a loss to the Yankees where the benches cleared. They have only won four of their last ten games. The White Sox are just underachieving at this point this team should be much better than their record indicates. 

I am taking the White Sox in this game. The White Sox are pitching Micheal Kopech in this game. He has been amazing this season as he has a 1.54 ERA and hasn’t allowed a run in four of his last six starts. Severino is on the mound for the Yanks and even though he has a 3-0 record his ERA is 3.63. In three of his last four starts he has given up at least three runs. I think Kopech outduels Severino.
