Considering the fact that the LA Dodgers have the second best record in baseball, not many teams have won their season matchups against LA to this point. The San Francisco Giants had actually defied the odds and had won the majority of the games that they had met up against the Dodgers to this point in the season. But their four-game series has gone completely wrong for the Giants, and the Dodgers have taken the first two. So a team that used to be a big hurdle for the Dodgers has become nothing but a stepping stone. Starting tonight for LA will be the American League starting All Star pitcher in Clayton Kershaw. Clayton Kershaw has been known to be injury prone, but has managed to pull it together this season to the tune of a winning record of seven wins and two losses within the ERA of 2.13 and a WHIP of 0.91. San Francisco is going to have to hit better than their 22nd overall team batting average would indicate.
