Division leaders treading water look to bounceback

The Brewers are struggling right now. They still lead the division at 48-39 but they have lost two in a row to the Pirates of all teams. Plus, they are 4-6 in their last ten games. They are now only 2.5 games in front of the Cardinals.

The Twins are also not playing their best right now. They are 48-40 on the season and have won five of their last ten games. They are coming off of a 6-5 win over the Rangers. They need to put more games between them and the Guardians as they only lead by 4.5 games. 

I really like the Twins here. They will be at home and they are playing better baseball than the Brewers right now, which isn’t saying much but they are. They also will have Josh Winder on the mound who is 2-0 in his last two starts with only two runs allowed over 11 innings. While the Brewers will have Jason Alexander on the mound after he gave up six runs in only 5.1 innings of work in his last start.
