The Astros have made a late push here on the Dodgers for the best record in the MLB. They aren’t going to catch them but they are going to finish with a great record as they are already 101-53 on the season. They have won two in a row and seven of ten.
The Diamondbacks are 71-83 on the season. They have fallen off lately as they have only won three of their last ten games. This was a very encouraging season for them though as they overperformed and they will be good next year.

This is one of the best pitching matchups of the season. Justin Verlander and Zac Gallen are a combined 29-7 on the season. Verlander has a 1.82 ERA and a 0.84 WHIP Gallen has a 2.46 ERA and a 0.89 WHIP. These guys have been unhittable all season and I think this number should be around 5.5.
