Cubs try to defend home turf from division rival Reds
After getting blown out in game 1 of this series the Cubs want a win to stay out of the bottom of the NL Central. Drew Smyly gives them the best chance to do that. Sitting at 5-1 with a sub 3 ERA Smyly gives the Cubs a fighting chance against anybody.
The Reds have not been great away this season and taking a series from a division rival would be a great way to get out of the bottom of this division. Winning 4 of their last 10 they need to get their season back on track soon.
