Cubs look to end losing streak

The Cubs have now lost six straight games. They are now 23-36 on the season. This six-game losing streak has included three losses to the Yankees, one to the Orioles, and two to the Cardinals. They have not been playing well. 

The Padres have been playing great. They are now 37-23 on the season and have won seven of their last ten games. They are now only half of a game back of the Dodgers for first place in the NL West. 

We are getting a lot of value with the Padres here. Yu Darvish is on the mound for them and he has been pretty good this season with a 5-3 record. He’s coming off of one of his best starts to the season where he gave up 0 runs and only two hits over seven innings. The Cubs will have Justin Steele on the mound who is also coming off a good start but is 1-5 on the season with a 4.79 era. I think the books are giving us a lot of value with a -135 line in this game.
