The Chicago Cubs have not been a good team all season, but boy are there clawing their way to victories. The Cubs have won six of their last ten games and all six of those have come in a 6 game-winning streak that they are currently on. They have won those games against the Pirates, phillies and Mets, surprisingly. Now they’re going to put their winning streak on the line against the San Francisco Giants team that has lost six games in a row. The fact that the Giants are favored in this game is quite surprising, but it is exactly why we should take them. The grants will be sending out Alex Wood to pitch for them, who has a six and eight record with a 4.21 ERA. He is coming off a decent outing where he allowed only two runs on four hits the entire time he pitched. The Cubs are an all right batting team as they rank 13th in team batting average on the year, so this run of scoring a lot of runs that they’ve had in this winning streak won’t continue tonight.
