Cubs and Red Sox both try to get off to strong start

The Nationals have been one of the worst teams in the MLB this year. They sit in last place in the NL East. They are 38-54 on the season and came into the break losing six of their last ten games. 

The Cardinals have had one of the most disappointing seasons in recent memory considering their preseason expectations. They are 38-52 on the season and they are in last place in the NL Central. They are going to need a major turnaround. 

Take the over in this game. Steven Matz is pitching for the Cardinals and has been horrendous this season with a 0-7 record and a 4.65 ERA on the year. He is facing Jake Irvin who is 2-5 on the year with a 4.60 ERA this season. These teams can score runs but both really struggle to limit others offensively.
