Cole looks to keep rolling

The Royals are now 39-59 on the season. They are coming off of two straight losses t0 the Angels. They are 4-6 in their last ten games and are half a game behind the Tigers. 

The Yankees are 66-33 on the season. They are having the worst slump of the season. They are coming off of two straight tough losses to the Mets. They are 4-6 in their last ten games. 

Let’s look at the over/under in this one. The Yankees will be pitching Gerritt Cole in this one who is 9-3 on the season and owns a 3.09 ERA while the Royals will be pitching Kris Bubic who is 2-6 with a 5.53 ERA. The Royals just traded away their best hitter in Andrew Benintendi to the Yankees so I have no doubt that Gerritt Cole will shutdown their offense. Even though Bubic’s numbers this season aren’t good, he has been very good in his last two starts as he is 1-0 with a 1.29 ERA in 14 innings of work. He also limited the Yankees to only three runs in his only start against them this year.
