Game Prediction, Analysis and Breakdown
Cleveland Indians vs. Cincinnati Reds
Tommy D. back with online sports bet, America’s favorite sports information channel.
It’s Friday, April 16, the Cleveland Indians vs. Cincinnati Reds Pick and Predictions report. This game starts at 7:10 PM EST tonight at Great American Ball Park in Cincinnati, Ohio, where the Indians and Reds face off for the first time this season.
The Cleveland Indians (6-5) were on a four-game winning streak before the Chicago White Sox prevented them from getting the fifth win in a row with a 4-3 victory. Although they bounced back with a 2-0 win thanks to Shane Bieber, the Indians were dismantled 8-0 in the third game of the series, courtesy of Carlos Rodon, who allowed no hits in nine innings.
Logan Allen (1-1) is getting his third start of the campaign, and at the moment, he has a 2.70 ERA, 1.20 WHIP, and eight strikeouts in 10.0 innings. The 23-year-old pitcher recorded his first-ever win in the Indians uniform against the Detroit Tigers, but he is still looking for a quality start this year.
The Cincinnati Reds (7-5) are coming from a couple of days off, which should serve them well after they lost four of the previous five games. Interestingly, the Reds lost both of the series-concluding games to the Arizona Diamondbacks and San Francisco Giants without scoring a single run after winning the opening game in both series. Considering this is an opening game of the series, the bookies didn’t favor the Reds, so the Indians vs. Reds Odds are even on the winner.
Jeff Hoffman (1-1) will be on the mound for the Reds for the third time this season. He pitched for 9.1 innings so far and has a 3.86 ERA, 1.29 WHIP, and eight strikeouts. Following a strong outing in a win over the St. Louis Cardinals, Hoffman disappointed in a loss to the Diamondbacks, so he will be looking to bounce back here.

Thanks to Betonline, we are back to the Cleveland Indians vs. Cincinnati Reds Betting Odds, where we don’t have favorites with a total of 9 runs.
I don’t believe Allen and Hoffman much, so I expect them to struggle early in the game and allow multiple runs. Over is 4-1 in Indians’ last five interleague road games vs. a team with a winning record, while Over is 7-2 in Cleveland’s previous nine interleague games vs. a team with a winning record. On the other hand, Over is 3-0-1 in Reds’ last four interleague games, Over is 3-0-1 in Cincinnati’s previous four vs. American League Central opponents, while Over is 5-1 in Reds’ last six home games. My Indians vs. Reds Pick is OVER. Remember, if you want my three VIP plays for free, click the link below.
