Guardians vs. Mets odds, prediction, and betting tips for MLB Props
The Cleveland Guardians will have their first game of the series against the New York Mets when they travel to Citi Field (7:10 p.m. ET). The Guardians really need to win this series after failing to win their last series against the Chicago White Sox losing two of the three games. They will look to continue their momentum from last game when they defeated the White Sox 3-1. Meanwhile, the Mets will look to continue their winning streak as they have won two games in a row. They won their last series against the Tampa Bay Rays winning the last two games of the series. Look to see if they can carry this momentum into this game against the Guardians.

The Guardians are in last place in the AL Central with a 20-23 record on the season. Cleveland has struggled to win games on the road as they are 11-11 as the away team this season. Also, the Detroit Tigers are tied with them for second place in the division.

So far this season the Guardians have had many of their players step up offensively. Jose Ramirez has been doing what he does for Cleveland and that is lead this team, as he leads the team in batting average and On-Base percentage. Ramirez has a .285 batting average with a .364 OBP. Steven Kwan has been fantastic also, with 45 hits and 14 RBIs with a .269 batting average. New York Mets
The Mets are in third place in the NL East with a 22-23 record on the season. New York has struggled to win games as they are 9-9 in Citi Field. This is an important series for the Mets because they are only 1.5 games back of the Miami Marlins for second place in the division. Plus, the Philadelphia Phillies are only one game behind the Mets.
So far this season New York has scored 190 runs and have allowed 207. Carlos Carrasco will try his best to keep at 207 runs allowed. Carrasco has a 0-2 record with a 8.56 ERA. In his last game he went 5.0 innings giving up 4 hits, 2 earned runs, 1 walk, with 3 strikeouts.
So far this season the Mets have had many of their players step up offensively. Guardians vs. Mets Prop Prediction
This is an easy one just keep following the streak. The Mets have not scored the first run in their last 12 games. This is just simply tailing a hot streak and hoping it keeps on going. Especially, with Carlos Carrasco pitching for the Mets I like the chances of the Guardians scoring first.
Guardians vs. Mets Prop Pick: Guardians to score first in the game (-130).
