Cards look to continue winning ways

The Cardinals are being carried by Paul Goldschdmit right now. Goldy is on a 23 game hitting streak. The Cardinals are also getting hot themselves. They’ve won four out of their last five games and our coming off of a win over the Cubs. They are now only 2.5 games back of the Brewers and their run differential is higher.

The Cubs are coming off a 14-5 loss to the Cardinals. They have lost six of their last four games. They are 22-30 on the season and fourth in the NL Central.

The Cardinals will be going with a bullpen game in this one while the Cubs will be starting rookie Matt Swarmer. The Cardinals offense is so hot and I think Swarmer will get touched up here in only his second career start. The Cardinals bullpen is good enough to win this game.
