Cardinals look to turn around horrible season
The Cardinals are one of the biggest disappointments of this season. They are now 27-40 on the season and have been bad this season. They sit in last place in the NL Central. They are 8.5 games back of first place and are 2-8 in their last ten games.
The Giants have not changed all season as they have been one of the most average teams in the MLB. They are now 34-32 on the season and should be in the mix for a Wild Card spot for most of the season but I don’t see it happening.
Take the under in this one. The Cardinals offense is struggling and both of these teams are going to have good pitchers in Anthony DeSclafani and Jordan Montgomery on the mound. Both of these pitchers have decent ERA’s on the season. DeSclafani has been really good this season with a WHIP under 1. I think these two teams struggle to hit the ball against these guys.
