The Bluejays are coming off a heartbreaking and to last season. They went 91-71 and finished fourth in the AL East. They finished just one game behind the two wild-card teams in the Red Sox and the Yankees. This was behind an incredible season from Vladimir Guerrero Jr. He would have won MVP in any other season if not for the Babe Ruth-like season of Shohei Ohtani.
