Can the National League Turn the Tide 

The 2022 MLB All-Star Game features the best players from the AL and NL. The game no longer determines home-field advantage for the World Series, but there’s still much to play for. This year the game will be held in Los Angeles in Dodgers Stadium. It will be the 91st all time MLB All Star game played, with the American League winning the all time record at 46-43-2. From 1950-1987 the National League dominated the All Star Game winning 33 of the 42 games played in that stretch. But in recent baseball memory, it has been all the American League, as they have won eight games in a row heading into this year’s All Star game. The National League are the favorites, despite the eight game losing streak in All Star games, and obviously this will be the case as both teams are star-studded. Additionally, in the last ten years, the average amount of runs in the All Star games has been around 7 runs per game.
