Can Sandy’s historic run continue?

The Marlins are riding high after back-to-back walk off wins over the Pirates. They are now 43-45 on the season and are only 3.5 games back of the last Wild Card spot. They are a great team and may look to trade for a bat at the deadline. 

The Phillies are slumping right now. They have lost four in a row. They are now 46-43 on the season and are at risk of getting caught by the Marlins. The Phillies have struggled since Bryce Harper went down. 

Sandy Alcantara will be on the mound here. The Cy Young favorite has been the best pitcher in baseball this season. He has gone 7+ innings in 12 straight starts. This is the longest streak of something like that in years. Kirk Gibson is on the mound for the Phillies. He has been decent this year with a 4-3 record and a 4.53 ERA. I can’t go against Sandy here. He has been dominant all year and is bolstering his case to start the All Star game and win the Cy Young.
