Can Rays get out of season worse rut
The Rays had held the best record in baseball for the entire season but after a couple of subpar weeks and an insane month from the Braves the Rays don’t own that title anymore. They are still 57-30 on the season and still have a 5.5 game lead in the AL East.
The Phillies are 44-39 on the season. This team is the defending NL champs and has been able to claw back after a poor start to the season. They are three games back of the first Wild Card spot. They are 6-4 in their last ten games.
I like the under in this game. The Rays are going to have Zach Eflin on the mound. He has been great this season with a 9-3 record and a 3.29 ERA. He is also hovering around a one WHIP on the season. On the other side is Aaron Nola who has been ok this season. I think he has another good start though as he has delivered outings of six shutout and seven shutout innings in his last four starts. The Rays and Phillies should struggle to put up runs in this one.
