Can Braves bounce back 

The Mets are in a bit of a slump right now, at least by their standards. They are 54-33 on the season but are 6-4 in their last ten. They are coming off of a nice 4-1 win over the Braves. They are now 2.5 games ahead of the Braves in the NL East. 

The Braves had won three in a row before dropping a game to the Mets. Ever since the start of their MLB high 14 game win streak they have been gaining on the Mets. They were coming off of a series sweep of the Nationals. Dansby Swanson and Austin Riley have been great lately. They are 52-36 on the season and 2.5 games back of the Mets. 

I am going to take the Braves here. They aren’t going to drop two straight in such a big series. They also have the better pitcher on the mound in Charlie Morton. Morton has been special over his last five starts as he has a 1.62 ERA. Last time Chris Bassitt for the Mets faced these Braves he gave up six hits and three runs.
