Can Astros Sweep?

At one point just two games ago, the Seattle Mariners were the hottest team in Major League Baseball. They went into the All-Star break with a 14 game-winning streak. This was the largest winning streak heading into the All Star break of all time in the MLB. We were then treated to watching their young star, Julio Rodriguez, absolutely crush it in the Home Run Derby. But unfortunately for the Mariners, that same young star Julio has not played for them in each of their last two games, and both have been losses to the Houston Astros. Houston has by far been the better team this season and is continuing to prove that they have a dominant grip on this division. 

 

Julio is once again doubtful for this game, and although the pitching matchup is a better one for the Mariners, the overwhelming trend is ‘no Julio, no streak’.
