Can AL continue dominance in All-Star games

The AL has won eight straight All Star games. The AL is 26-6-1 in the last 33 All Star games. I think the NL can change that this year and obviously the books do too as they have the NL favored. They will have the hometown hero on the bump as Clayton Kershaw will start the game for them in Dodgers stadium. 

I just think the NL has the better batting lineup this year. The NL has scored almost 300 more runs than the AL this year. The pitching in this game will also favor the NL on the pitching side. The NL’s pitching staff is way ahead of the AL’s. The NL has three of the four best pitchers in the MLB right now in Sandy Alcantara, Corbin Burnes, and Clayton Kershaw. While two of the AL’s top guys in Justin Verlander and Gerritt Cole will be unavailable to pitch.
