Brewers Fight For Divisional Supremacy
The Milwaukee Brewers are 65-56 (53.7%) and hold a 2.5 game lead in the NL Central. It’s a tight race, with both the Cubs and Reds hot on Milwaukee’s heels, but for now, the Brewers hold the crown in the division. Milwaukee went 6-4 in their last 10, recording 4.6 runs, 7.5 hits, and 1.1 home runs per contest, but face a tough test in Texas on Friday
The Texas Rangers are 72-49 (59.5%), putting them in a position to win the AL West for the first time since 2016. The Rangers have been phenomenal at the plate, posting the most runs in the AL with 691, and the best run differential at +195. Texas went 7-3 in their last 10, averaging 4.9 runs, 8.9 hits, and 1.2 home runs per game.
I like the Rangers in this one. Milwaukee is a good team, and they lead the NL Central for a reason, but the Rangers offense far out matches theirs, having scored 175 more runs than the Brewers. Additionally, the Rangers have been indomitable at home, winning 66.7% of their games in Arlington.
So for our Brewers vs. Rangers expert pick, take the Texas Rangers Moneyline (-135) on Friday.
