The Atlanta Braves will have their third game of the series against the Toronto Blue Jays when they travel to the Rogers Centre (1:37 p.m. ET). The Braves desperately need a win in this series as they have lost the first two games in this series. Atlanta has only scored two runs in the two losses. Meanwhile, the Blue Jays are looking to win this game and sweep the Braves in this series.

 Atlanta Braves

The Braves are in first place in the NL East with a 25-14 record on the season. Even though the season is still early Atlanta has already separated themselves from the rest of the division. The Philadelphia Phillies are in second place in the NL East with a 19-19 record. They are 5.5 games back of the Braves. Atlanta has jumped out to a huge lead in the division because of their ability to win on the road. They have been playing incredible ball on the road with a 15-5 record as the away team. Look to see if they can continue this against the Blue Jays.

So far this season Atlanta has scored 201 runs and have allowed only allowed 148. The Braves have not announced who will be starting on the mound in this game. This has people questioning if the Braves will do a bullpen game where they pitch a bunch of guys from their bullpen. Look to see tomorrow hours before the game who will be on the mound for the Braves.

So far this season the Braves have had many of their players step up offensively. Ronald Acuna Jr. has been a big piece for Atlanta this season as he leads the team in batting average, On-Base percentage, and hits. Acuna Jr. has a .342 batting average, a .433 OBP, with 52 hits on the season. Ozzie Albies has also been fantastic, with a .261 batting average, 9 homeruns, 27 RBIs, and 40 hits. Matt Olson has brought the power to this lineup with a .233 batting average, along with 6 doubles, 11 homeruns, and 34 hits.

In their loss against the Blue Jays on the road, Marcell Ozuna helped the Braves jump out to a 2-0 lead. Then the bats died for the Braves after the homerun. Toronto dominated the rest of the game as Bichette had a great game scoring two straight RBIs. Bryce Elder struggled for the Braves on the mound going 5.0 innings giving up 5 hits, 2 earned runs, 1 walk, and 3 strikeouts. A.J. Minter lost the game for the Braves giving up 3 hits, 2 earned runs, and only 1 strikeout.

Toronto Blue Jays

The Blue Jays are in third place in the AL East with a 23-16 record. Toronto is currently six games back from the Tampa Bay Rays for first place in the divison. They are also only one game ahead of the New York Yankees and the Boston Red Sox from falling into last place in the division. This is an important series for Toronto as they will look to turn their struggles around and pick up some games on their division opponents this weekend. The Blue Jays have been great home this season with a 11-3 record at the Rogers Centre.

This season Toronto has scored have scored 186 runs and have allowed 165. Yusei Kikuchi will be on the mound for Toronto in this game. Kikuchi has a 5-0 record with a 3.35 ERA and 33 strikeouts. In his last start he went 6.1 innings giving up 4 hits, 0 earned runs, 2 walks, with 3 strikeouts. He will have his hands full against a loaded Braves lineup.

So far into the season Matt Chapman is having a great season for the Blue Jays. Chapaman leads Toronto with a .326 batting average and a .410 OBP. Bo Bichette has also been a key piece for the Blue Jays this season leading the team with 8 homeruns, 26 RBIs, and 54 hits, while having a .325 batting average. Vladimir Guerrero Jr. has done his thing so far this season with 10 doubles and 7 homeruns, while having a .313 batting average.

In their win against the Braves at home, they fell down 2-0 int he second inning. From that point on it was all Toronto as they scored five straight runs to win 5-2. Bichette had two RBI singles in the fifth and seventh innings. Guerrero Jr. hit a sacrifice fly to score another run in the seventh inning. Braves vs. Blue Jays Prop Prediction

If it’s not broke don’t fix it. I know I gave this prop yesterday, but I love this bet again. The Braves have lost the first two games in this series and they do not know who is pitching for them in this game. I expect the bats to come alive for Atlanta in this game. Everyone in the lineup will know they will have to score a lot of runs in this game. I expect the Braves to get the bats going early and put up some runs.

Braves vs. Blue Jays Prop Pick: Atlanta Braves to be the First Team to Score.
