Streaking Braves visit red-hot Mets

The Braves had a setback as they dropped four of five games to the Mets but since then they have won six in a row. They now get a chance at some revenge. They are 70-46 on the season and they have a six game lead on the rest of the Wild Card teams in the race.

The Mets are on fire right now. They have won 17 of their last 20 games. They are now 75-40 on the season. They have the second best record in the MLB only behind the Dodgers.

This is a great pitching matchup as Charlie Morton and Taijuan Walker will be on the mound for the Braves and the Mets. Walker is 10-3 on the season with a 3.43 ERA. Morton hasn’t been his usual self but is still 5-5 with a 4.26 ERA. I think Walker has the upper edge here and the Mets can win this game. These lineups are both great but I think the Mets have a significant advantage in the pitching here.
