Braves and Mets matchup with NL East lead at stake

The Mets are in a bit of a slump right now, at least by their standards. They are 53-33 on the season but are 6-4 in their last ten and are coming off of a loss to the Marlins. They are now only 1.5 games ahead of the Braves in the NL East. 

The Braves have now won three in a row. Ever since the start of their MLB high 14 game win streak they have been gaining on the Mets. They are coming off of a series sweep of the Nationals. Dansby Swanson and Austin Riley have been great lately. 

This is a great pitchers duel as we have Max Scherzer and Max Fried on the mound. These guys are a combined 16-3 record on the season. Scherzer has a 2.26 ERA and Fried has a 2.52 ERA. I think people will be all over the under here but I like the over. These offenses are really good. The Mets rank fourth in runs scored this season while the Braves rank third.
