Bottom dwellers in NL Central face off

The Cubs are now 28-46 on the season. They have the fifth worst record in baseball and are playing horrible baseball right now. They are coming off a 5-3 loss to the last place Reds. If they lose this series the Reds could pass them.

The Reds are now 26-47 on the season. They have the second worst record in all of baseball. They aren’t as bad as their record though as they started the season 3-22. Since then they are 23-25. 

The Reds will have one of their top pitchers on the mound in Garrett Ashcraft. He is 4-1 on the season and is coming off of a win where he went eight innings and only gave up two runs. He will be facing Kyle Hendricks who’s ERA is approaching 5 and who is 3-6 on the season. The Reds have been much better lately while the Cubs have been much worse. Plus, the Reds have the pitching advantage.
