Blue Jays look to start new streak

The Tigers are now 40-59 on the season. They are about to be caught by the Royals in the AL Central and be sent to last place. They have lost seven of their last ten. They also had to send their top prospect back down to Triple A.

The Blue Jays were the MLB’s hottest team. They had won seven straight games before dropping a game to the Cardinals and are now 54-44 on the season. They have passed the Rays and now own the first Wild Card spot in the AL. 

The Blue Jays are such big favorites in this game that I am going to stay away from the run line and moneyline. They will have Alek Manoah going in this one who is 11-4 with a 2.24 ERA. He has been deadly over his last three starts only giving up four runs over his last 20.1 innings pitched. He will face Brysan Garcia. Garcia hasn’t pitched this year. I like the under here because Manoah will deal in this one against a weak Tigers offense. The Blue Jays are coming off of a game where they only scored one run.
