The Blue Jays are in a bit of a tail spin at the moment. They are coming off of a sweep where the Red Sox took all three games in Toronto. The Blue Jays are now 45-40 on the season and they have dropped down to fourth place in the AL East.
The White Sox are not having a good season. They are now 12 games under 500 as they sit at 37-49 on the year. They are in fourth place in the AL Central but they are only 5.5 games back of first place. This team’s problem has been on the road as they are a 500 team at home.
Take the under in this one. Lucas Giolito and Chris Bassit are on the mound here and they both have sub 1.2 WHIPs on the season. Giolito has a sub four ERA and Bassit is coming off of one of his best starts of the season as he went six innings and gave up zero runs. These teams should struggle to put up runs.
