Tonight we will be treated to a clash of giants, as the New York Yankees travel to take on the Houston Astros. It will be both these teams first games back from all star break, a break in which they both will have plenty of players playing in. The Yankees are currently the favorites to win the World Series at +400 odds according to Caesars Sportsbook. The Astros are right there too however as they are the third favorites at +450. Record rise these teams are just as impressive as the Yanks have the best record in the MLB at 64-28, and the Astros have the third best record at 59-32. 

Statistically, these teams are just as good as their records would indicate as they both rank top 5 in all pitching categories, and in the top half of the league behind the plate. The pitchers tonight will be just as star powered. Jameson Taillon of the Yanks, and Justin Verlander of the Astros have records of 10-2 and 12-3 respectively. Verlander has been sensational this season having an ERA of 1.89, and he will definitely keep it up tonight.
