Battle in Chicago

The Cubs are 49-51 on the year. Their division has been pretty weak this year so they are still relatively close to the lead as they are 6.5 games back of first. They are playing well lately having gone 7-3 in their last ten games. 

The Cardinals are just under the Cubs in the NL Central. They sit in fourth place and are 11.5 games behind the first place Brewers. They are 6-4 in their last ten games and need to turn it around quickly if they want a long shot at the postseason. 

I love the Cubs in this game. They are going to have one of the NL Cy Young Candidates in Justin Steele on the mound. Steele has been incredible this season with a 10-3 record and a 2.95 ERA on the year. He also has a sub 1.2 WHIP on the season. He is going to be facing Miles Mikolas who has a 6-5 record and who’s ERA has not been great this season as it sits at 4.33. The Cubs should take this NL Central rivalry game.
