Battle for the AL West heats up

The Rangers have also been having a stellar season sitting atop the AL West with a 59-42 record. They are playing well recently winning seven of their last 10 and continuing to lengthen their lead over the rest of this division but they are coming off of two losses to the Dodgers. 

The Astros are 57-44 on the year. They sit in second place in the AL West. They are now two games back and would love to take this series and make this division battle even closer.

I like the Astros in this game. Although Heaney has been decent for the Rangers with a 4.58 ERA and a 6-6 record. On the other side Valdez has been stellar for the Astros posting a 2.94 ERA and 8-6 record. Valdez pitching prowess should take this game for the Astros.
