The Phillies are having a decent season but aren’t in great form. They’ve fallen to 3rd in the division with a 56-49 record. Winning 4 of their last 10 they allowed the Marlins to jump back on top. This series is very important for the battle behind the Braves.

The Marlins had a great first half of the season but haven’t had a great second half. They are at second in the division with a 57-49 record. They fell behind the Phillies but were able to reclaim the spot. They have won 4 of their last 10 and need to do a lot more winning to stay in this wildcard battle.
