Baseball’s best rivalry continues

The Yankees are now 62-26 on the season. They are still on track for around 120 wins on the season. They aren’t playing very well right now as they are 5-5 in their last ten and are coming off of a splitting of games with the Reds. 

The Red Sox are coming off of three straight losses to the Rays. They are now 47-42 on the season and rank third in the AL East. They are 1.5 games back of the Rays in the division and are tied with the Blue Jays in the division. 

This is a great pitching matchup as Nathan Eovaldi and Jordan Montgomery will be on the mound here. Eovaldi has been great lately as over his last three starts he is 3-0 with a 0.90 ERA. Jordan Montgomery has also been good this season with a 3-2 record with a 3.19 ERA. Ultimately, I just love the way Eovaldi is pitching right now. I think the Red Sox win this game behind him. I do think Montgomery will keep it close though.
