Baltimore Has Fared Well Against Toronto

The Baltimore Orioles are leading the AL East with a 64-41 record, and they’ve taken the lead in convincing style. The Orioles are 16-9 in July, and won 6 of their last 10 games. They scored just 3.8 runs per game over that 10 game stretch, but their pitching and defense were fantastic, allowing just 37 total runs. 

The Toronto Blue Jays, like all the AL East teams, are above .500 with a 59-47 record. Toronto is 3rd in the division, winning 6 of their last 10, but against the Orioles the Blue Jays have struggled, winning just 1 of their 6 meetings with Baltimore. 

I like the Orioles in this one. They are coming off an impressive 9-3 victory over the New York Yankees, where they scored 7 runs in the 1st inning, and will carry that momentum into this series. Baltimore has an incredibly impressive lineup, and on the road in Toronto, the Orioles are 3-0 this season.
