Marlins visit Reds

The Marlins are coming off of back-to-back wins over the Pirates. They are now 45-49 on the season. They need to trade for a bat at the deadline as they have been one of the worst offensive teams in baseball over the last month. 

The Reds are now 36-58 on the season. They are coming off of a series split with the Cardinals. They are only 1.5 games back of the Cubs in the NL Central. After starting the season off 3-22 they have been 33-36 since then. 

I like Miami in this game. I have more faith in their pitcher here. They will have Trevor Rogers on the mound who I think is better than his numbers show. I think Rogers has a good start here.They will be facing Nick Lodolo who is 2-3 on the season and has a 5.81 ERA. Lodolo is coming off of a bad start where he only went two innings and gave up five runs. I’m going with the better team in this one.
