The Braves have been one of the best teams in baseball this year. They will try to continue their momentum in this series. Atlanta was ona three game winning streak till they lost their lost game against the Boston Red Sox 5-2. The Braves will look to bounce back and win this series against the Blue Jays. Meanwhile, Toronto needs a win badly as they were swept by the Philadelphia Phillies after sweeping the Pittsburgh Pirates. In the two games they played each other, the Phillies took it to the Blue Jays winning the first game 8-4 and winning the second game in a thriller 2-1 in extra innings. Toronto has been on the road for a long time. Look for them to have a great series int his one finally being back home in front of their home fans.
Atlanta Braves
The Braves are in first place in the NL East with a 25-12 record on the season. Even though the season is still early Atlanta has already separated themselves from the rest of the division. The Miami Marlins are in second place in the NL East with a 19-19 record. They are 6.5 games back of the Braves. Atlanta has jumped out to a huge lead in the division because of their ability to win on the road. They have been playing incredible ball on the road with a 15-3 record as the away team. Look to see if they can continue this against the Blue Jays.
So far this season Atlanta has scored 199 runs and have allowed only allowed 140. Bryce Elder will try his best to keep at 140 runs allowed for the Braves. Look to see if Elder can have a good day on the mound against a struggling Blue Jays team.

Ronald Acuna Jr. has been a big piece for Atlanta this season as he leads the team in batting average, On-Base percentage, and hits. Acuna Jr. has a .347 batting average, a .438 OBP, with 50 hits on the season. Ozzie Albies has also been fantastic, with a .272 batting average, 9 homeruns, 27 RBIs, and 40 hits. Matt Olson has brought the power to this lineup with a .243 batting average, along with 6 doubles, 11 homeruns, and 34 hits.
In their loss against the Red Sox at home, Boston got out to a quick 2-0 lead in the fourth inning. In the sixth inning though Acuna Jr. cut the lead to one with a solo shot homerun. Then later in the inning the Braves managed to find a another run tying the game up 2-2. Later in the game though Atlanta’s bullpen let them down as they gave up a run in the seventh inning and two runs in the ninth inning to lose the game for them 5-2. The Braves offense was not able to do anything also. A.J. Minter and Raisel Iglesias were the two relievers who lost the game for the Braves.
Toronto Blue Jays
The Blue Jays are in fourth place in the AL East with a 21-16 record. Toronto is currently eight games back from the Tampa Bay Rays for first place in the divison. They are also only one game ahead of the New York Yankees from falling into last place in the division. This is an important series for Toronto as they will look to turn their struggles around and pick up some games on their division opponents this weekend. The Blue Jays have struggled on the road so far this year with a 12-13 record.
This season Toronto has scored have scored 178 runs and have allowed 163. Jose Berrios will be on the mound for Toronto in this game. Berrios has a 3-3 record with a 4.91 ERA and 41 strikeouts. In his last start he went 6.1 innings giving up 5 hits, 2 earned runs, 1 walk, with 7 strikeouts. He will have his hands full against a loaded Braves lineup.

In extras Bichette made a crucial throwing error that cost the Blue Jays the game losing 2-1. Kevin Gausman for Toronto though pitched a gem going 6.0 innings giving up 3 hits, 0 runs, 0 walks, with 9 strikeouts.

I love this prop for this game. Especially with Jose Berrios pitching against a very dangerous Braves lineup. I think Berrios struggles in this game early against the Braves hitters. I think Atlanta will attack him ealry in this one. So early that it might even be int he first inning. Berrios has been bad this year for the Blue Jays. Also, Bryce Elder has been dominant for the Braves on the mound. I think he’ll give up some runs to the Blue Jays who are finally playing back at home, but I don’t it’s before Berrios gives up runs to the Braves.
