Game Prediction, Analysis and Breakdown

Atlanta Braves vs. Milwaukee Brewers

Tommy D. back with online sports bet, America’s favorite sports information channel.

It’s Saturday, May 15, the Atlanta Braves vs. Milwaukee Brewers Pick and Predictions report. This game starts at 7:10 PM EST tonight at American Family Field in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, where the Braves and Marlins face off for the second time this season.

Braves were swept by the Blue Jays

The Atlanta Braves (17-20) are still without a win over the Toronto Blue Jays this season as they lost the second three-game series and now are 0-6 against the Blue Jays. The final game of the series was tied at 4-4 until the 9th inning when the Blue Jays exploded for four runs and handed a loss to closer Will Smith.

Ian Anderson (2-1) will be on the mound for the eighth time this season. The 23-year-old righty allowed no runs in two wins over the Yankees and Cubs, but let seven on 12 hits in the last two games against the Blue Jays and Phillies. For the year, Anderson has a 3.46 ERA, 1.26 WHIP, and 43 strikeouts in 39.0 innings.

Brewers powerless against red-hot Flaherty

The Milwaukee Brewers (20-18) lost the series against the St. Louis Cardinals as they couldn’t cope with Jack Flaherty in the series decider. The Cards’ pitcher allowed no run on four hits over 6.0 innings, and the Brewers fell short 2-0 in the end. It was Milwaukee’s seventh defeat in the previous ten games.

Brett Anderson (2-2) is getting his sixth start of the campaign. He responded well to a disastrous opening inning in a loss to the Chicago Cubs with three strong innings in a win over the Miami Marlins, when Anderson let no run on two hits.

For the season, the 33-year-old lefty has a 3.54 ERA, 1.23 WHIP, and 11 strikeouts in 17.1 innings.

Atlanta Braves vs. Milwaukee Brewers Pick

Even though Milwaukee usually plays low-scoring games, the pitcher matchup is favorable for the Over bettors. Over is 4-0 in the Braves’ last four Saturday games; Over is 5-1 in Atlanta’s previous six vs. National League Central opponents, while Over is 7-3 in the Braves’ last ten games vs. a left-handed starter.

On the other hand, Over is 7-3 in the Brewers’ last ten vs. National League East rivals, while Over is 7-2-1 in Milwaukee’s previous ten vs. a team with a losing record. That’s why my Braves vs. Brewers prediction is OVER.
