Astros try to maintain best record in the AL

For the first time all season the Astros now have the best record in the AL. This isn’t really because they have been playing great but instead because the Yankees have been playing so poorly. The Astros are 72-41 on the season and are coming off of a 7-3 win over the Rangers. 

The A’s still have the worst record in the AL. They are now 41-71 on the season as they have lost five games in a row. They are now only 4.5 games ahead of the Nationals for the worst record in the MLB. 

Lance McCullers will be making his debut for the Stros after he strained his flexor tendon last year. McCuller was great last year with a 13-5 record and a 3.16 ERA. he will be facing Jared Koenig who is 1-3 with a 6.39 ERA. The Astros will crush in this game. I think McCullers will be great here as they pickup yet another win in the AL. I also like the under. I don’t think the A’s will get much of anything going here. I think this game could finish in the 5-0 range.
