Astros try to maintain best record in the AL

For the first time all season the Astros now have the best record in the AL. This isn’t really because they have been playing great but instead because the Yankees have been playing so poorly. The Astros are 72-31 on the season and are coming off of a 7-3 win over the Rangers. 

The A’s still have the worst record in the AL. They are now 41-71 on the season as they have lost five games in a row. They are now only 4.5 games ahead of the Nationals for the worst record in the MLB.
I am not going to touch the ML here as it is way too much juice. Instead let’s take a look at the total and run line. I love the over here. The Astros might hit this over/under by themselves. The A’s are going to be sending Adam Oller onto the mound against this vaunted Astros lineup. Oller is 1-5 with a 7.63 ERA on the season. I expect the Astros to score 7+ runs here. The A’s may help out a bit as they will face Luis Garcia who is 8-8 on the season with a 3.93 ERA. I love the Astros in a big blowout here.
