Astros Seize Opportunity 

The Houston Astros have been one of the best teams in major league baseball since the beginning of the year and the recent good play has brought them into the third best record in the MLB and currently the number one seed in American League. They currently sit with a record of 75–41 and thanks to the Yankees losing eight of the last 10 games, the Astros have claim to the one seed quite handedly and all look to extend that gap between the Yankees and them with a game tonight against the White Sox. 

Chicago is no push over game however as the team that had the expectations they had come into this season is still a talented roster. The White Sox have won three games in a row against the Tigers and have  won six of the last 10 games so they have plenty of confidence against the Astros team. The pitching matchup in tonight‘s game is an absolutely stunning one and quite possibly might be the best one we’ve had all season. It also has to be as both these teams rank in the top half of the MLB in team batting average, highlighted by the White Sox whorank fourth. 

Both squads will be seeing out their aces so for the Astros it will be Justin Verlander and for the White Sox it will be Dylan Cease. Both these pictures have ERA‘s under 2.00. Verlander has a record of 15-3 and an ERA of 1.85 to be exact, and Cerase has a record of 12-5 and a 1.96.
