The Astros have now won five of their last six games. They have won eight of their last ten and are first in the AL West at 45-26. They have the second best record in the AL. A big part of their team is Yordan Alavarez who has the highest WRC+ in the league. They are coming off of a combined no hitter against the Yankees.

The Yankees are still the Yankees though. They now sit at 52-20. They have won six of their last ten games. They are coming off of two straight losses to the Astros.

I know the Astros have pretty much owned the Yankees over this series but I like the Yankees in this game. They have the better pitcher on the mound as they have Nestor Cortes on the mound. Cortes is 6-3 on the season with a 2.31 era. The Astros will have Jose Urquidy on the mound who is also 6-3 but has a 4.68 ERA on season. This Yankees team is still the best team in baseball and won’t get destroyed in a series like this.
