Astros for ninth straight

The Royals are now 29-50 on the season. They are coming off of two straight losses to the Astros. They have been developing their players this year and were not expected to do much. They have won three of their last ten games.

The Astros are on fire right now. They are 53-27 on the season and have won eight straight games. They have the second best record in the MLB behind only the Yankees and have now closed the gap to only 4.5 games between them. 

Verlander and Kris Bubic will be on the mound in this one. Verlander has been incredible this season with a 10-3 record and a 2.03 ERA on the season. Bubic is 1-5 with a 7.06 ERA on the season.
