Astros and Mariners face off in AL West clash

The Astros are playing well right now. They are now 66-35 on the season. They are coming off of two straight wins over the Mariners. The Astros have owned the Mariners as of late.

The Mariners are coming off of two straight losses to the Astros. The Astros seem to be their kryptonite as they had won 14 straight before being swept by the Stros and have now won three straight. They have won 17 of their last 22 games. All five of those losses are to the Astros.

George Kirby will be on the mound for the Mariners. I think the can help the M’s turn it around here. He has been red hot lately as over his last three starts he has given up three runs over 16.1 innings. Jake Odorizzi will be on the mound for the Astros. Odorizzi has given up nine runs over his last 10.1 innings. He just isn’t pitching too well at the moment. I am going to take the hotter pitcher here even though the Astros have beaten the Mariners a lot lately.
