A’s Continue To Struggle 

The Oakland Athletics are at the bottom of AL West and have second worst record in all of baseball. They are currently 3-10 in the 2023 season. The A’s are 1-6 on the road, but 2-4 at home. The Pitcher for this matchup is right handed pitcher out of UCLA, James Kaprielian who is 0-1 on the season with 11 strikeouts and a 11.17 ERA. 

The New York Mets are currently 2nd in the NL East. Their record is 7-6 on the season. The Mets are 3-4 on the road. New York has split their last 10 games 5-5. The Pitcher for this matchup is Kodai Senga who is 2-0 on the season with 14 strikeouts and a 1.59 ERA. 

The Mets have a decent start to the season. They won a couple games to start off the season against Miami and then got swept by the brewers. The Mets are a solid team sitting at 2nd in the NL East.
