Are the Giants done?

The Giants have now lost four straight games after being swept by the Dodgers. They are now 51-55 on the season and have won three of their last ten games. They are a full 6.5 games back of the Wild Card and the season is slipping away. 

The A’s are probably still the worst team in baseball but they aren’t playing too bad right now as they have won two in a row and six of their last ten games. They are still 41-66 on the season.

I know the Giants are slipping but they will have their ace on the mound against the worst team in the American League. Carlos Rodon is 9-6 on the season this year with a 3.00 ERA for the Giants. He will be facing Adam Oller who has been absolutely horrendous for the A’s this year with a 1-4 record and an astronomical 7.68 ERA. I am going to take the better pitcher and team here.
