Angels trying to turn it around

The Angels nightmare finally ended. They finally ended their 14 game losing streak against the Red Sox. It was a team record and the longest in the MLB this season. And somehow they still have a positive run differential at +8. Plus, Mike Trout is now day-to-day with a groin strain. 

The Mets are now 38-21 on the season. They have built a big lead in the NL East as they are ahead of the Brave by seven games. They have the best record in the NL. They are coming off of back-to-back losses to the Padres. 

The Mets will have the wins leader in the MLB on the mound in Carlos Carrasco as he is 7-1 on the season. It is a bit misleading though as he still has a 3.5 era. Michael Lorenzen will be on the mound for the angels and he has a 3.69 ERA and has been pretty decent this season. But in his last two starts he gave up 8 runs over just 12 innings. I like the Mets in this one as they have the better offense and the better pitcher.
