Angels face struggling Rangers
The Rangers spent the most money in the MLB this offseason. They signed players to a total of $561 million worth of contracts. This was headlined by two of the game’s top shortstops in Corey Seager and Marcus Semien This hasn’t translated to wins early. They are currently 1-4 after losing their last two games to the Rockies.
The Angels are coming off of back-to-back wins over the Marlins after a 1-3 start on the season. Shohei Ohtani hasn’t gotten going but expects him to find his groove here soon. Ohtani and Trout at full force will be a scary sight to see.
The Angels will be starting Ohtani in this game while the Rangers will be starting Dane Dunning. Ohtani was incredible in his debut as he went four and two-thirds innings and struck out NINE. I think Ohtani will destroy this Rangers lineup as the Angels will jump on Dunning who wasn’t good in his first start this year.
